Why We Have a Strict Cancellation Policy

Bondi Salon, much like many of its partners, has a strict cancellation policy. 

Business reservation cancellation policies are everywhere!

We care about your time, and we also care about our stylists time. We want to make sure we can accommodate as many clients as possible and we also want to make sure that our stylists are compensated for their time.  Out of care and concern for our guests and stylists we are implementing this 24 hour cancellation policy so we can run our company seamlessly.

OUR POLICY PROTECTS OUR STYLISTS

Did you know that in our industry, most Stylists earn their income by commission?  This means they do not make a salary, and they do not get paid hourly.  They earn their living by taking care of the guests in their chair.  If a guest doesn’t show up for their appointment or cancels with little notice, this doesn’t leave an opportunity for the Stylist to book another appointment.

OUR POLICY PROTECTS OUR GUESTS

Did you know that at Bondi Salon, we have at any given moment, three to ten guests waiting on a cancellation list for appointments?  Also, we are booked as an entire team up to three weeks out, especially nights and weekends.   We continue to hire, train and grow because of this demand!  Given this demand, we have to enforce our policy to protect those who are eagerly waiting for their appointments.

OUR POLICY FOR BRIDES

Our Bridal packages require a reservation prior to the wedding date. A credit card will be held on file upon reserving your bridal party. Should you cancel two weeks prior to your wedding, a charge of 50% of the total services will be charged to your card on file. Should you cancel one week before the day of your event you credit card will be charged in full.

OUR POLICY FOR OUR EVERYDAY GUESTS

In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, please be sure to give us a minimum of a 24-hour notice. This allows other guests to book an appointment during this time slot. Any appointments that are canceled with less than a 24-hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of all scheduled service(s). In case of repeated no-shows, Bondi Salon reserves the right to require future visits to be paid in full upon booking.  Electronic storage of credit card account numbers is encrypted and properly secured.

GRACE & EXCEPTIONS

We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur.  We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace.
